[How to catch a charmander]

Wow, it's really great for your first animation. Even though it isn't incredible, for your first time using Flash it's very impressive, specifically the special effects like the blood and the part where the pokeball catches charmander. I know we talked about this over email, but for next time, put more motion into your characters. Other than that, great job, especially for a first attempt!

Every single time you make animation my expectations are extremely high because I know how talented you are, yet you absolutely blow me away every single time! You and other british animators are the one's who have inspired me to animate, and you have made my life a hell of a lot more awesome. Thanks Harry!

Hi siquator! Welcome to Newgrounds. Newgrounds is a great website, and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Anyway, let me try to give some on ow to improve:
First of all, I understand that this is a test, and is probably one of your first animations, and if so, it is a very good start. But, the tweens could have been faster (like when he hits the wall) it would have been better if you added some recoil to the hit, and maybe a motion blur just before he hits the wall. And, the drawing could have used improvement, and the line work could have as well. If you don't already, I recommend getting a tablet. I used a bamboo fun for 4 years, and it was so much better than a mouse, 1 week ago I saved up enough money to get a 12 inch cintiq. Any tablet is better than nothing. I think that if you stick at this, you could be great! But the newgrounds reviews will seem quite harsh, so if you get criticism, don't worry, it'll just drive you to improve even further! Good luck!

Yes, the art and animation was far from top notch, I know, it makes me so frustrated that my work done on paper can be so good....but with a mouse....not so much. and Yes, I am investing in a tablet soon, watching tutorials everyday, animating drawing, I'm getting better.

[Damn it flash]

Wow dude! That was really fluid! The use of smears and overshoot after certain fast actions were used very effectively, and the lip sync was spot on, and looked great. And the quirky sense of humor was very nice and worked well with the style of animation. But there are a few VERY small things. One of them was that the flash interface was a PrtSc, and there is nothing wrong with that, but, the pen pressure brush tool, was not real, and was drawn by you, and the combination of the two things just didn't work, but, that is a very small problem. And finally, the idea was not original, but again, it doesn't matter at all for a funny short like that. Keep on improving and you could be GREAT!!

[Metal Queer Solid 2]

Explosive cake, this was pretty god damn amazing. Even though the last one was fantastic, you were able to improve upon that in just about every aspect in this animation. There was more fluid fbf, the tweens had more eases, it was god damn hilarious and, it's over 11 minutes long. I am extremely impressed man, your projects are fantastic! :)

[My First Lip Sync Attempt]

Considering this is your first lip sync test, then it is very good, much better than my first go, haha. But it does look a little bit strange, and almost goofy, because all the mouths are different sizes and shapes. What I do is I draw one mouth and then convert it into a movie clip/graphic so I am able to re-use it over and over again, rather than re-drawing it over and over.
But anyway, it was very good for your first go well done.

Thanks dude, Yeah I tried that out but for some reason I picture that frame by frame looks much better. I will try that out though.
